OUT OF STEP / FILLER — DISCHORD #10 FIRST PRESSING 45RPM
IAN MACKAYE • Dischord #10 First Pressing 45 RPM (Inner Ear Studios)

Music is not a commodity, and shows must be accessible to everyone regardless of age. Five dollars at the door, hand-folded record sleeves, and zero tolerance for violence or gatekeeping.
Architects of the Dischord Records DIY blueprint, all-ages $5 shows, and blistering D.C. hardcore. Formed in Washington, D.C. in the fall of 1980 by Ian MacKaye, Jeff Nelson, Lyle Preslar, and Brian Baker. In just three years, Minor Threat founded Dischord Records, codified straight edge ethics, and established the DIY community template that inspired underground bands worldwide.

Original 1983 Dischord Records first pressing featuring Cynthia Connolly's iconic black sheep cover art. Hand-assembled at the Dischord house in Arlington.
