Formed in Los Angeles in 1991 by Everlast (Erik Schrody), high school friend Danny Boy O'Connor, and teenaged turntablist/producer DJ Lethal. Touring relentlessly on hardcore, punk, and alternative bills alongside Rage Against the Machine, Biohazard, Helmet, and Ramones—and contributing to the landmark 1993 'Judgment Night' soundtrack with Helmet—House of Pain turned 'Jump Around', 'Shamrocks and Shenanigans', and 'On Point' into crossover pit staples.

Treating his turntables and Akai MPC3000 as a second lead guitar inside Limp Bizkit alongside Wes Borland, DJ Lethal powered stadium-shaking crossover anthems from 'Jump Around' to 'Break Stuff', 'Nookie', 'My Generation', and 'Take A Look Around'.
