MISFITS

Crimson Ghost stencils spray-painted on leather jackets, B-movie sci-fi horror themes, devilock hair, and Plan 9 DIY 7-inch vinyl pressings.

Founded in Lodi, New Jersey in April 1977 by vocalist/songwriter Glenn Danzig and bassist Jerry Only, later joined by Jerry's brother Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein. Pressing their own legendary 7-inches ('Bullet', 'Horror Business', 'Night of the Living Dead') on Danzig's Plan 9 label, the Misfits invented horror-punk and built the worldwide Fiend Club.
