SOCIAL DISTORTION
Slicked-back hair, Gretsch & Les Paul P-90 snarl, Johnny Cash outlaw country soul, and working-class Orange County punk grit since 1978.
Founded in Fullerton, Orange County, CA in 1978 by guitarist/vocalist Mike Ness alongside high school friend Dennis Danell. Featured in the legendary 1982 documentary 'Another State of Mind' touring in a converted school bus with Youth Brigade, Social Distortion bridged raw 1980s OC hardcore ('Mommy's Little Monster') with timeless roots-infused punk ('Social Distortion', 'White Light, White Heat, White Trash').
